L’Hôtel du Castellet is pleased to announce the arrival of the Chef, Christophe Bacquié, Meilleur Ouvrier de France (2004) and awarded by the 'Guide Michelin', at the Direction of the Catering of the Hôtel du Castellet and the Cuisine of Le MonteCristo restaurant, since the first of November 2009.
During his career, several encounters have been decisive in his passion of his profession. After l’Oasis in Mandelieu-La Napoule with Stéphane Raimbault and Louis Outhier, charismatic and generous people, he multiplies his Parisian experiences, with Prunier for example (Paris XVI).
He is then back in Corsica where he grew up, and joined la Villa (Calvi) in 1997, as a Sous-chef, then as a Chef in duo until 1999. He became Head Chef in 2000 and received his first star in the ‘Guide Michelin’ in 2002 and then the prestigious title of ‘Meilleur Ouvrier de France’ in 2004. Lastly, in February 2007, the Guide Michelin rewarded him with two stars.
In 2008, he became ‘Grand Chef’ Relais et Châteaux and is rewarded with the Relais Gourmand Trophy.
